AMERICAN SEWING GUILD/ASG (consumer)
ASG has a mission of advancing sewing as an Art-and-Life skill.
It has more than 20,000 enthusiastic members in 138 chapters and
more than 1,000 neighborhood groups spread throughout the U.S. Many
chapters actively partner with local sewing retailers to promote
community sewing events and education. ASG members are among the
most passionate sewers you will meet and if you don’t yet have a

CANADIAN CRAFT AND HOBBY ASSOCIATION/CCHA (trade)
CCHA was established in 1978 and is committed to serving and
engaging Canada’s creative industry on all levels, engaging all
participants, suppliers, retailers/purchasers, designers, educators
and consumers, with energy and excitement. As a non-profit
organization, the mandate is to help our members succeed and help
promote crafting in Canada on all levels. The association brings
together many different types of crafting and business structures
who share common goals and common business challenges. The CCHA is
here to help pool resources of its members, offer time saving
solutions, explore the needs of its members, and fill those needs in
a cost effective and productive manner. The association is also an
advocate for the industry to government and media. The CCHA hosts
trade shows, other business related events, and issues regular
newsletters for members.
Although CCHA has a Canadian industry focus, U.S. companies may
become members of the association providing they have either a)
a licensed Canadian craft related business, which means that they
have a warehouse and/or employ full-time staff in Canada or b) they
sell their products through a Canadian distributor.

CERAMIC ARTIST GUILD (consumer)
This new virtual based organization has been established to help
keep the "craft" of ceramics alive and staying strong. It
is intended to become the central focal point for all who enjoy the
art of slip-cast ceramics as well as other ceramic medias. The focus
will be towards all forms of slip-cast ceramics.

CHA is a not-for-profit trade organization consisting of
thousands of member companies engaged in the manufacture,
distribution and retail sales of products in the nearly $30 billion

INTERNATIONAL DECORATIVE ARTISANS LEAGUE
Founded in 1984, the Stencil Artisans League,
Inc. was comprised of a group of artists and manufacturers sharing
their enthusiasm for the art of stenciling. In 2008, the association
unveiled its new name: International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL),
which better represents the expansive range of media and techniques
practiced by its membership. IDAL is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization. The membership reflects a highly diverse international
group of practitioners of the decorative arts. IDAL’s members,
however, remain dedicated to one sole purpose: to explore, promote,
and teach the unlimited possibilities of the ever-widening range of
materials available to creative persons. IDAL embraces, welcomes,
and supports everyone from hobbyists to independent artisans to
large-scale finishing companies and manufacturers through education,
skill enhancement, networking, and professional support. In addition

HOBBY MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION/HMA (trade)
The mission of the Hobby Manufacturers Association is to
stimulate the growth of the model hobby industry and to offer unique
benefits to members and affiliated companies, including providing
industry statistics, and legislative information when appropriate
and necessary.
HMA's objective is to promote the general interests of all
persons engaged in the buying, distributing, manufacturing, or
selling of model hobby merchandise including but not limited to
model railroads, die cast models, and radio control hobbies thus
providing an arena in which its members can achieve greater
individual growth under a collective organization. To achieve this
end, HMA will conceive, develop and implement programs to foster the
model hobby industry expansion and will pursue enhanced member
benefits via economies of scale.

The Society of Decorative Painters is a membership organization
with 18,000+ members throughout the United States, Canada, Japan,
and 42 other countries. It has more than 300 affiliated chapters
that actively promote decorative painting through community service
projects and other painting-related activities. SDP publishes the
industry’s leading decorative painting magazine, The Decorative
Painter; which is published quarterly and is a benefit of
membership. The organization also hosts an annual international
decorative painting conference and expo. Annual U.S. membership is
$40 for individuals and $70 for business members and is open to
anyone who enjoys painting or is part of the arts and crafts
