Educational Programs Announced for NAMTA's Art
Materials World™ 2010
The show is April 15-17 in Indianapolis.

NAMTA's Art Materials World™ International Convention
and Trade Show 2010 will offer an extensive variety of educational
programming, from keynote speakers to instructional seminars to
sectional meetings.
The day prior to the show's grand opening, attendees may choose
from 10 instructional seminars, including a wide range of business
and product knowledge topics geared toward art materials retailers.

Opening Day
Keynote speakers and CLN columnists Kizer & Bender
will present "Retail Revolution: Straight Forward Solutions for
Uncertain Times," followed by F&W Media with "Creating
New Consumers: Targeting Today's Youth." (Note: To read

Day Two
Keynote speaker John Rise, Director and President of learnArt,
opens the second day of the show with a presentation on his unique
program that promotes art and art history as a career path for young
adults.
Additional presentations for this second-day general session
include David Pyle of Interweave Press/American Artist magazine
presenting the findings of the consumer portion of the Artists
& Art Materials USA 2009 study, and Rick Rousseau with his
presentation, Embrace Merchandising in the NEW Economy.
Day Three
The final day of the show begins with peer networking sessions
for retailers, suppliers, and manufacturer's reps. Each group will
discuss topics such as, "What issues are you facing
today?"; "What successes have you had in the past
year?"; and "How has the Artists & Art Materials
USA 2009 study impacted you and your business?"
